iPod Touch & iPhone OS 3.0 Final Firmware (Official Release)

Instructions:

1. Open iTunes (make sure it v8.2) and connect your iPod Touch/iPhone.
2. Select iPhone/iPod Touch under 'Devices' on the left.
3. If you're using Windows: Hold down the shift key, and click on the restore button. If you're using a Mac: Hold down the 'option' key, and click on the restore button.
4. iTunes will pop up with a window which will let you browse the .ipsw firmware file you want to install.
5. Wait while the OS 3.0 firmware is being installed.

Enable Mobile Web, Internet Tethering & MMS Support on your iPhone
(Note: This does not require a jailbroken iPhone.)
To enable Mobile Web & Internet Tethering, use your iPhone to visit:

Scroll down to 'Mobileconfigs,' then choose your carrier, and install the profile.
With these files you can enable Mobile Web and Internet Tethering on your iPhone!

After installing the Mobileconfig, YOU HAVE TO REBOOT to add MMS settings! Then go back to the same site on your iPhone:
